May’s Speaker: Kathy Kupka

Kathy’s presentation was entitled, “Paws and Profits: From Pup Portraits to Print Products”. Kathy spoke to us about her journey to becoming the pet photographer that she is today. She didn’t begin with dogs, but inadvertently became interested in them and then, with the diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, her creations of pet greeting cards and small pieces of art grew into a book and a profitable business. Kathy’s presentation showed that if you have a passion for photography and perseverance, you can find your niche and make it profitable.
