Brief Bio:

Northern Virginia Photographer, Jeff Mauritzen specializes in Commercial Photography, Editorial Photography, Travel Photography and Wildlife Photography.  He has been helping clients achieve their visual branding and storytelling needs for over 20 years. In addition to assignment work, Jeff’s images have appeared in hundreds of publications, including over 2 dozen National Geographic books, National Geographic traveler Magazine articles, National Geographic calendars, the Wall Street Journal, Lonely Planet guidebooks, BBC Travel, Washington magazine, Virginia Tourism, the Smithsonian American History Museum and numerous other publications.  Jeff is also a seasoned and popular photography expert, guiding and lecturing on natural history-focused trips around the world for National Geographic Expeditions.  Locally he also offers private one on one photography lessons in Northern Virginia and can be hired as a speaker.
